Farm Goals

We asked Emoyeni SA's director, Darryl: "What is one hope/goal you have for when we are serving with Emoyeni?"

Darryl: "To develop the farm to its full potential. We need to plant about 2500 macadamia trees and grow enough veggies and chicken for teams, the preschool and needy community members."

Not every missions organization owns a farm. Emoyeni is in a special position to meet spiritual and physical needs in the surrounding community. We are so excited to be part of this mission. Nick has done a lot of self-study and experimentation (and also some college courses) on growing vegetables, raising chickens, living sustainably, etc. He was thrilled to have a reason to buy his next resource from his favorite vegetable gardener (yes, folks, he has a favorite vegetable gardener! 👨🏻‍🌾). The girls and I are looking forward to helping out wherever we're able. I'm eager for my book on some SA history to come 😁.
