Borders and Vessels

Well folks, since the world shut down in March (...April?...I don't know, it's been a long year!), we've been waiting for this... SOUTH AFRICA IS OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL!!! Very soon we will be applying for our visas and buying plane tickets for *drumroll please* MARCH 2021!!! Yes, about 3 months... Yeesh, it's so exciting and also terrifying! Please keep us in your prayers as we finish up the visa applications. I've already spoken to the consulate a bit and they didn't tell me not to bother applying so I'm hopeful that this will be a smooth process. Bonus: we don't have to bring the kids to New York when we apply so that relieves a lot of stress!

On a personal note.. Maybe some missionaries feel like extraordinary people. I don't. I mean, I feel alright about myself, but I'm just a regular lady. Sometimes Satan gets in my head and makes me question if I'm really cut out for this calling. I share this as a testimony of God's goodness because He has been reassuring me that it's not about what I can do, but what He can do through me. Folks, all we need to be is empty vessels! Pray with me that God would empty us of ourselves and fill us to overflowing with Himself.
