I Will Sing It

I lift my hands. If my hands fail me,
I'll bend my knees. If my knees grow weak,
I'll raise my voice and sing, I'll sing
I know that You love me

Give me a song to sing
And I will sing it
Give me a song to sing
And I will sing it to You God
-Will Reagan, United Pursuit

Sometimes...most of the time...I feel so underqualified to do what God has called us to. I wonder why He would choose me. I know there are more learned, more energetic, more organized, more outgoing Christians who could handle mission work better than me. I know there are better mothers who could organize their time and entertain and discipline their children better than me, and therefore do so much more ministry work. The fact of the matter is, I am ordinary and I feel God has called me to something extraordinary. It was exciting until the reality of trying to stretch my ordinary self to the extraordinary hit. But God keeps teaching me that it is Him who works through me. I don't have to do it alone. So I give what I have and when that fails and I am broken and weak, God assures me He is with me and He speaks to the deep pain in my heart. I don't know how to go on, but He will give me steps to take, words to speak, and a song to sing. And it's all for Him, because He is worthy. When He touches your heart as He has mine time and time again, you realize that if all your life amounts to is a song sung to the one who made you, that will be more than enough. He is worthy, he is worthy. Hallelujah!
